    Thanks Mick, the system works normal ie central heating and water,now and again the hot water runs cold and the light flashes on the control panel (fan) but it is only now and again.

    My potterton 30HE boiler fan indicator on control box flashes and hot water runs cold intermittently,also should there be water in condensation trap?Can anyone help please.
