Can I screw/attach 1kg weight into vinyl fascia?

This should be plenty of material for the screws to hold to then. All good!

Can I screw/attach 1kg weight into vinyl fascia?

Will use self-tappers - M4, 25-30mm enough I guess? The facia feel quite solid when I knock on it, so if nothing behind the vinyl must be reasonably thick. The camera mount is circular with 3 holes, thus 3 screws.

Can I screw/attach 1kg weight into vinyl fascia?

Hello everyone, I want to install a wifi camera (~1kg) outdoor attaching it to a vinyl fascia. Can I screw into the fascia and what's behind it - is there wooden board or just empty space? I assume that vinyl walls are only ~2-3mm thick, so unless there is something screwable behind the...

How to remove 3-spindle drain waste?

OK I'll try that. Do I understand correctly that even if I undo the trap (U-bend) from undernearth and clean the pipes, I'd still need to replace it with a new before re-attahing to the waste? Any chance of re-using the existing trap and sealing the joint with putty/sealant?

How to remove 3-spindle drain waste?

I use old chisel but the central screw rotates only half a turn anticlokwise and then gets stuck - I can try to rotate harder - but are you sure it's fully unscrewable? Just want to be certain I won't break it. Yes I have access from underside - that is undernearth bathtub. Do you mean that I...

Thanks for suggestion - checked wickes, unfortunately they only sell up to 3m in length and up to 100mm wide, and we need longer (5.2 m max) and wider (225mm). But will visit other merchants stores and select.

Hello everybody, What is most effective way to buy softwood Carcassing Timber (C24)? (needed for loft conversion). Assuming that you know the sizes (cross-section and length) and number of items for each unit. 1. Ordering online? 2. Calling the merchant and placing order over the phone? 3...

How do you put RSJ/UB above existing pipework?

the beams will lie on top of walls (external and internal) which are nearly flash with the loft floor. The only way I see to raise them is to build an extra layer of bricks on top of the walls - I think our SE won’t be happy with this, but I’ll ask I him once he finishes the drawings.

How do you put RSJ/UB above existing pipework?

They would need to cross steel beams anyway if not in this part of the loft then at another place.
