Terrywookfit;- Sorry for appearing to be thick,but I take it that this rad gets closed off at both ends,removed to allow access to wall,replaced afterwards then reconnected, and refilled releasing any air.

Hi Dave,thanx for quick response,this fault has just suddenly happened.To make it even more strange about week ago this problem happened with the basin taps in bathroom,which are now ok,without having done anything to them.The bathtaps referred to in original post is oldstyle shower mixer type.
