    Socket in back of wardrobe

This thread basically covers what I had planned on, without an extended backbox. https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/adding-a-socket-to-a-wardrobe-door.509056/

    Socket in back of wardrobe

My thoughts went straight to panelled walls too. I have no issue removing the back of the wardrobe and plugging straight into an existing plug, but a faceplate internally would be 100x neater. The wardrobes are sat raised on a plinth with the back of the wardrobe touching the back wall, so no...

    Socket in back of wardrobe

    Socket in back of wardrobe

Just out of interest, if the wardrobe is fixed. Why can't you do that The back of the wardrobe is flat to the wall and only mm's thick.

    Socket in back of wardrobe

I'm fitting some pax wardrobes and will be fixing them onto the wall. I've a socket behind which im wanting to put into the wardrobe. I'd planned on removing the faceplate from the socket, cutting out the wardrobe and using longer screws to internally mount the socket face plate to the backbox...

Water coming up between grouting - bathroom floor tiles

Annoyingly when the cabinet was fitted the waste pipe and inlet was fed through holes instead of a slot in the cabinet front. When I changed the cistern it meant getting it as tight as possible blindly, which clearly wasn't that tight. This time I had to either remove the waste, or cut the...

Water coming up between grouting - bathroom floor tiles

I had a better look behind the toilet yesterday as it's a concealed cistern and it looks like waters originating there. It is pooling in front of the toilet too. I'll remove the cabinet and get a better look. I imagine it's the water feed pipe not sealing into the toilet bowl. I hope anyway...

Water coming up between grouting - bathroom floor tiles

I appreciate it. I know the question is vague as it could be from anywhere, just wanted some hints. Seems to be no common for duration of appliance use to water coming up through tiles

Water coming up between grouting - bathroom floor tiles

Good spot. These are radiator pipes and I'm losing no bar pressure though?

Water coming up between grouting - bathroom floor tiles

Which screws? The drip was wiped and nothing returned on this. I imagine it's just run through from the tiling above and gathered. This is a recent issue.

Water coming up between grouting - bathroom floor tiles

Good shout. Toilet had been silicone to the tiles which was a clever decision. I couldn't see any water leaking before but I didn't put my phone down. Waste pipes are definitely dry. Some photos from under the floor. The drips were wiped and didn't return so weren't from the pipe joints.

Water coming up between grouting - bathroom floor tiles

WC cistern isn't leaking, i replaced this recently as it had been overflowing. Shower pipes are tiled over, this is my worry. It's a low walk in shower tray. The water appears to pool only in the middle of the bathroom but i presume running to the lowest point.

Water coming up between grouting - bathroom floor tiles

1st floor, timber. Presume they've put a sheet material over the floorboards but who knows in this house. I'm getting no damp in the roof of the kitchen which is directly below although it did leak through the coving a while back before I resealed the shower.

Water coming up between grouting - bathroom floor tiles

Recently noticed when standing on a floor tile in the bathroom that there is water coming up from the grouting. I have resealed the shower unit and ensure a towel is down to catch excess but this water has not dried up. I've checked under the floor from the adjacent room and cannot see any...

Stuck (blanking plug) on new radiator (Ed.)

I hammered a screwdriver in, and use a spanner on that managed to unscrew it. Threads seem fine. Vice grips were on tight but the plastic just crumbled underneath. Unfortunately there wasn't much to grip onto! All sorted now, appreciate the help. I'm used to this on cars, not new radiators
