How much is this going to cost? could it not be the pressure regulator???

I have just had a new fan put in, but the noise started before this. I am hitting it near the bottom of the boiler

I have a buzzing boiler (it lasts for 1-2 mins), not too sure where the noise is coming from. The only way to shut the noise off is to hit it. Please help, driving me nuts Louise :(
