    Guttering drip against house

Does that mean the garden paving on my neighbour's side is too high? I'm sorry I'm getting lost in translation. That paving was only laid last year but I didn't have any damp problems before so your suggestion seems very reasonable. Thank you.

    Guttering drip against house

Thanks again, ree. The holes under the concrete slab can't be inspected further as it's a solid floor with terracotta tiles in the extension. I guess I just need to get the exterior area around it dry and get the holes filled. I'm a bit rubbish at the terminology - what's a high yard corner...

    Guttering drip against house

Thanks ban-all-sheds. I missed "Refresh my images" and clicking on each image to make them show up in the post. Thanks for your help!

    Guttering drip against house

Ree, thanks so much for your help with this. I've added a few more photos to try and give some better context. The extension is a solid concrete floor with terracotta tiles. There is no damp to be seen in there but there is in the dining room which is the nearest room in the main section of...

Holes under grey slab at base of extension

These are the holes I've found under the extension. It's near the corner where it attaches to the main building. The other side of this wall is a solid concrete floor covered with terracotta tiles. There isn't damp in the extension but there is in the dining room (nearest room in the main house).

This is looking down towards the bit that needs a kick-out.

This is taken from my back garden looking at the two houses (mine on the right). You can see the glass roofed extension.

    Guttering drip against house

Thanks ree. I think a kickout is just what's needed. The photos are taken from my neighbour's garden. The house on the left and the pipes coming down are my neighbours and the yellow brickwork is my extension (done about 8 years ago). The channel around her house is from the boiler outlet...

Damp patch in the dining room

The damp can be seen from the floor and has spread, plus another patch at the first shelf. It's not anywhere higher on the wall.

    Guttering drip against house

I have a single storey extension and the downpipe from the roof brings the rainwater to guttering along the edge of the extension. There is a small amount of water getting between the end of the guttering and the flashing on the house wall. These drips have caused a damp patch to seep into my...

Closer view of the damp corner, behind the soilstack pipe. And the holes under that grey slab, on the side of my extension, can be seen clearly.

    Damp brickwork in corner

Behind the neighbour's soilstack pipe, and against my yellow brick extension, the corner is very damp and is seeping into my house.

Damp brickwork in corner by drain. Possibly caused by drips from guttering.

Need to refix a cast iron pipe to side of house

Thanks. I think the pipe is wider than 4inches. I'll need to do the 'measure circumference to get the diameter calculation' to confirm but I'll check out that site more. Thanks again.

Need to refix a cast iron pipe to side of house

I've got a cast iron pipe on the side of my house that I believe is a sewer stink pipe. My house is over 100 years old and is end of terrace so the house has moved over the years and the pipe is now only attached to the wall at the lowest point and the two higher brackets do not reach the wall...
