Soz watch foot ball & so good. I think the problem is the fan as that would account for the noise the unit was making in the days before the break down & yet seemed to come from the pump. I am going to get a new fan & fit that. THANKS ALL FOR YOUR HELP! regards Andy

Yes it is on both the HW & the heating & no the fan does not seem to be working

I have a boiler which is not igniting. It has the ignition lockout light on. I tried tapping the homeywell valve lightly & pressing the reset & the light goes out for 20 secs, then comes back on. The unit dont light up. :(

I have a Halstead Best 40db it was not lighting. The boiler was fitted about 10 years ago. The red ignition lockout light is on all the time. I lightly tapped the Honeywell valve as advised & the light went out how ever the boiler did not restart & after about 20 seconds the light comes back on...
