I have a boiler which is not igniting. It has the ignition lockout light on. I tried tapping the homeywell valve lightly & pressing the reset & the light goes out for 20 secs, then comes back on. The unit dont light up. :(

Yes it is on both the HW & the heating & no the fan does not seem to be working

is there a power supply to fan or aps

if there is no supply it will be the pcb the red and black one on the right side of the gas valve

if there is a supply to fan then check or replace the fan

you will need to use a meter not a neon screwdriver to test supply

Soz watch foot ball & so good. I think the problem is the fan as that would account for the noise the unit was making in the days before the break down & yet seemed to come from the pump. I am going to get a new fan & fit that. THANKS ALL FOR YOUR HELP! regards Andy

it'll prob be that small pcb, think its described as an aquastat or something. Changed loads when I used to look after some of these on an estate. Usually clicks alot and can't make its mind up. P155 poor quality relays on pcb cause the fault.

THanks for that will check that 2 & have read that PCB problem hope that ok but worth a check thanx Andy
