hi Does anyone know if I can fit external controls on my Vokera Compact 28 boiler? This would be a big advantage as the eyesight is not what it once was. Thanks Magoo

Thanks again. I'll get the Hoover out and blitz it again. There were new light fitting installed as well, forgot to mention that. There's no bare floor, all covered with Vynil. Air comes in around the door.

Thanks JohnD for reply. It was a new fan, fitted for the first time so the wall was drilled. We also removed the old plaster and the whole bathroom replastered. It's been painted. The dust is black and very very fine. Hope this is helpful. Thanks again

Thanks for replies. Tried the paper trick, with unused paper, and it sticks to the fan so it it definitely sucking but can't understand all this fine dust.

Recently had bathroom revamped. Had an extractor fan fitted - comes on with the light. The problem I now have is that there is now a very fine layer of dust everywhere in the bathroom. No sooner wiped off than it starts again. This never was the case before. Could it just be a teething problem...

The subject says it all. Anybody got any ideas on how to prevent this? I put some polystyrene sheeting - the stuff for laminate flooring - on the top and there is moisture on top of it. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks J

Hello again I have a coal effect gas fire with piezo ignition. The ignition sparks every time but will not light the pilot. If I use a match or lighter then it works perfectly. Should I leave the pilot on all the time, have the thing replaced/repaired or continue to light it manually...

Good point! It's a dishwasher.

The machine fills up and drains off then fills up again and drains of again....... It never gets any further. I have had the pump off and it is clean and free. It just won't start running through the programme. Any advice greatfully accepted. Thanks
