    Cats for now but possibly a dog sometime. Yes, one PIR is at bottom of stairs and catches anything in hallway..or going up/down stairs. Another is on the landing at top of stairs. The PIR would need to be clever enough to ignore certain body masses, even if they came in range - on chairs...

    Haha.... Yes indeed, it does get kinda warm. However previous batteries have lasted 4-5 years with similar number of towels. Point taken though. 80% of airing cupboard contents hasn't been used since the 9800 was state-of-the-art!
