Hi Dave, thank you for your kind advice, i think i must try and get a quote from another engineer as i have lost faith in the the previous one. Its good to have an idea of what the problem could be as i have not a clue and atleast i have an idea now.

yes i agree, sometimes money isnt always readily available being on a very low income but i agree and wish that i could of afforded that at the time
