I have just installed a new electric shower (9Kw) with a 40A mcb connected to a RCD and then to a 40A switch to control supply to shower via 6mm cable. When I turn on the shower the power hunts (on/off repeatedly), the mcb + rcd do not trip but the socket mcb does. Help any ideas please.
