Hello to you all.i am a novice DIYer.I just bought a Maisonette.It has a paquet floor in living room,hallway and entrance.Parts need repair,but I cannot afford a professional to do it.It is only small areas.I just need to know if it is just a case of cleaning up loose tiles and re-taring?
Also the wood blocks are a herring bone pattern so the grain is not in the same direction.Is it OK to just get a floor sander and go in a straight line? I dont think it matters,but not want to ruin the floor.If anyone can help advise me please,i thank you very much .
