Hi. My single lever mixer tap has been leaking for a while. Water trickling from below lever when off. I've tried to remove the top bit/lever and can't do so. The blue/red cap appears to not be removable and I'm scared to try to twist the base of the tap to see if I can access washer/cartridge...

Thanks. I've just never seen anyone else with one. Is it possible to drain more standard taps when shutting down for winter or is it maybe an advantage having the tap I have?

Hi I have an outside tap the likes of which I've never seen. Is this a normal kind of thing? It has the advantage of my being able to drain it for winter by unscrewing the nut at the bottom but looks odd. Can anyone advise? TIA M
