That makes a lot of sense, I was thinking just to buy the part and replace it myself, but you are right about the testing after. Thanks for your advice, I think I'll stick to having it done professionally.

Good afternoon, just a bit of advice really - It looks like our PCB needs replacing in our Baxi boiler. Its £200 plus loads extra for fitting by the plumber. I can get the board cheaper and fit it myself... do I need to be gas safe registered just to replace the PCB board? Thank you
