The 'big' joist goes round the stairs and supports the joists across the house from this. There is just about enough height but for safe keeping im planning on having a reduced height door, at least high enough to get the ironing board, hoover in etc!
The dial does turn and feels engaged as per normal. The lights on the front show the water temp and soon get to 60-80, not sure if theres a 100 degree light!
The flow is good, I asked the guy who installed it and he showed me the preheat, so I tried it but it doesn't keep the water to the desired temp.
The previous owners kept it regularly serviced so it seems a little odd for it to be this way.
