I'm looking to support my breakfast bar and was thinking that these are a great idea https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/218510776/t-brace-countertop-support-bracket?variation0=568125073 but I can't find anywhere in the UK that stocks them and they are pretty expensive. Anyone know of an alternative?

Thanks for the responses - the guttering is not overflowing even in the heaviest rain so I think this happened during the build as mentioned. Will see what the buildr says but their website actually says this isn't covered

I've got a new build and have noticed the following on one side of the house. I'm not sure what this is, what has caused it and what I can do to remedy it. I want to get the builder to sort it bhut don't want to be fobbed off. Thanks

I want to install bigger joists in my new build garage so I can board it out. The existing joists are resting on a piece of 2x3" wood running the length of the brickwork, so should I rest the new joist on this? and if so how should I secure them to avoid twisting? Or should i use a joist...

There are no internal hooks loops or holes just a single hole the same as a desktop lamp shade
