Hmmm, now i think perhaps I have similar problmes to this thread!! I was present when the chipboard was being fitted, but never knew how cr@p it was!!! I dont remember the guys using any glue!!! There aernt too many nails holding the stuff down either!! but when a added lots of screws over...

Thanks for the responses!! What is this amount of settlement due to then? as only the 1st storey is affected? Is it the wooden joists? as it it was the foundations, bricks, etc......then i woud have seen cracks all over? This still leaves me with a really bad squeaky 18mm chipboard...

Hi, Ive just taken my bathroom out, tiled the floor and put the tolilet, etc back. Unfortunately, the feed to the toilet is now too short (10mm) and one of the radiator connections is also too short (10mm). What are my options?? Is there a radiator valve that has increased hight to save...

New special dimmer switches are available to dim flourescents. Screwfix has some, about £25 each.
