Hi,

Ive just taken my bathroom out, tiled the floor and put the tolilet, etc back.

Unfortunately, the feed to the toilet is now too short (10mm) and one of the radiator connections is also too short (10mm).

What are my options?? Is there a radiator valve that has increased hight to save me extending the pipe?

For the toilet feed, if i replace the isolation valve for a longer service valve, will that bo ok? (http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/333-1872)

Cheers,

Matt.

Use a flexi hose on the toilet and lower the rad brackets so the rad fits onto the valve correctly :D

Nice idea for the toilet!! will do!!

Cant lower the rad, as its a reclaimed floor standing towel rail!! any other ideas!?

Most rad valves are roughly the same length give or take a couple of mm. So if you have the room underneath cut the pipe low to the floor and use end feed sockets with longer bit of pipe.

You might just find that a Prestex rad valve ...belmont, I think.......expensive and high quality solid brass ;) will be that bit bigger, or could have a half inch iron connection that you could extend with a chromed male iron/copper fitting .........god I`m so bloody good
