Hi Muggles, thanks for this. I'm not sure how they capped it, but the BBU is still in place. So from the sound of it, the fire could technically still work, the BBU just needs to be capped off a certain way?

I've had a Glow Worm BBU capped off and a new combi boiler installed. The firefront doesnt seem to work and I wonder if it is possible to continue to use the fire without the BBU on this model?

Spot on. Think I might pop in to a Farmers or Kw1k fit and see, at least they cant do bodywork so cant start trying to get me to allow them to sort it. Although I am sure if I drop it in there I will be needing new bulbs, windscreen wipers and anything else they can come up with! Thanks folks
