Yes , they will come together . I’d recommend a Honeywell t3r wireless stat as a cheap replacement

If I was you I’d take the replacement salus back and buy a decent thermostat like Honeywell , salus stats have proven to be very poor, all of the rt510 I’ve fitted over the last 12 months have all died and been replaced

And the low pressure? Think I’d be looking at changing the 2 stats

I’ve had this fault or similar before and it totally threw me, I can’t be 100% sure but I think I adjusted the low- high gas valve pressures cause they were incorrect. There was also an updated overheat stat to solve an issue on these boilers.. has yours ever been changed? I’m not suggesting diy...

Apart from incorrect clipping of the gas pipe of course! How he can say solder fittings look unsightly after leaving you with that pipe work I'll never know. The blokes clearly clueless ! You should ask him did he get a 2 year old child to silicone up the gas pipe!

Wow.... ! The boilers not even straight on the bloody wall! So looking at the picture you took, underneath the boiler inside the cupboard, he's tied the filter to the gas pipe ( with the 22 comp elbow ) Surely gas safe will do something about this? They soon jumped on me over something...

If he has used the existing flue like you have suggested, the position of the filter really is the last thing to worry about, I've never known of any gas safe registered installer to even consider doing that, or one who can't use solder copper fittings! From the few pictures you have provided...

Yeah it should have been on the return but its an easy mistake to make on installation. Not a problem glad its sorted for you and saved you paying out for more bits you didn't need. :D

Look at page 10, it shows the layout of pipe work connections, look at the right hand 22 mm connection, it should have a nut on the end similar to the one you were referring too on page 36. There's a metal filter in that one too, if its blocked it will cause the same issues your are experiencing.

I would check the filter on the return isolator valve isn't blocked with cr@p 1st!
