room thermostats

My room thermostats keeps going off it
And when it does it does not work the heating but boiler is still on and start poping And bagging
Have changed the room thermostat 2 weeks ago for a new one.
Any one no what it could be

Switch has just click on and i can switch it on and off and pump turned and heating working but it did the same over last couple of days
