Can anybody help here?

I have a Worcester 24 CDI boiler with a single mechanical timer fitted plus I have a room thermostat.

Up to last week I could alter my room temperature, plus set the thermostat to kick in, and out, at certain temperatures.

I can not do this now I have to keep going to the boiler to turn the heating on and off.

Can anybody advise is this the single mechanical timer on the boiler that’s faulty, or do I need a new room thermostat.

sounds like the fault is on the room stat.
ya programmer sends power to the stat which (wen turned up) sends a switch live back to the boiler.
some stats wont click if there is no power to it, if the temp is out of range or the switch is stuck.

check the stat with a multimeter before replacing
