    LVT in bathroom

Hey all, Looking for some guidance before I install my click-fitting vinyl plank flooring. I've never bought it or fit these before, however I've found some online that come with a lifetime warranty and are apparently waterproof. I intend on fitting them to my bathroom. They already have a...

    Sub-floor ventilation Issue

Thank you for your help, it looks as if we most likely won't be buying the property due to other flaws as well. However, the property was within a radon area and the vents were visible, but nearly level with the concrete path, so just visible. There was no evidence of the floor being rotten...

Oh really? Okay, thank you. These were the pictures provided, when they mentioned the crack and the fire safety issue with the windows.

Replaced concrete roof tiles/Building Regs/Felt roof

Thank you, that's certainly interesting. The survey is incredibly long and there are many things that are highlighted as possible things to consider. I'm only reviewing those that I personally would clarify as high risk. I will definitely do a bit more research thank you.

Replaced concrete roof tiles/Building Regs/Felt roof

Sorry I might be a little confused, what do you mean by CYA type? As in the survey has provided flaws without much reason? Pointing out something to point it out?

Replaced concrete roof tiles/Building Regs/Felt roof

Hey all, I'm looking to buy a property and the level 2 home survey has come back informing us that the concrete roof tiles have been replaced and this should have been done according to building regulations and their approval of the material etc. It recommends getting the solicitors to ask...

    Sub-floor ventilation Issue

Hey all, We're looking to buy a property and we've received the level 2 survey back telling us that our sub-floor ventilation is too low. It's informing us that we need to either replace the vents or install a gully, whilst also checking there is no rot in the existing timber floors. Is this...

    Window Lintels/Brickwork diagonal crack

Hey all, Looking to buy a property and we've just had the Level 2 survey back and it tells us that due to the property being built in 1983, there may not be any lintels in place above the windows and doors. There is a current crack in the rendering above a rear window and all windows also need...

    Bridging loan

Thank you all so much for the advise. I have reviewed the legal pack and unfortunately all it includes is the EPC, so I'm unsure where that puts me but potentially doing a bit more research.

    Bridging loan

Oh right okay I didn't know that. The property doesn't have a standard roof type so it was assumed that lenders will refuse due to the longevity of it. Term wise/interest, I haven't yet got to that point. Purely the research stage, reviewing whether it's a viable option buying the property of...
