Hi we recently repainted our white staircase with a white oil paint and on only one post it has started to show some pinkish stains.i repainted it and the pink has reappeared. Does anyone know why this might have happened?

My mum has just dropped a plate on her 20 year old amtico tiles and has caused a chip which she is very upset about. Is there any way the chip can be filled and repaired? If I can fill it then I'll try to paint it as carefully to match and disguise it as possible? Many thanks

I have just had this fence installed two weeks ago and there are clear blemishes appearing on the wood on some of the panels( especially this under the tree) The fence hasn't been painted but I thought it had been pressure treated. Does anyone know what this is and whether I can do anything...

Thank you all - that's really helpful. I'll make sure to find out about suitable fence panels and probably go to a decent timber yard. In terms of other in, it's to replace all posts panels and dispose waste, yes. I just need wooden posts, not concrete and would be very happy with 6 wide x 4ft...

Thanks for your advice Ian and terryplumb. I am sure it is very easy and failsafe but I just have no idea what I am doing and for peace of mind I'll have to pay for a powerflush. The valves have been slightly rounded off and there is a build up of paint so the bleed key just can't grip very well.
