Hi put links in 7&8 RKPs display was dark squares instead of characters so no joy. Have ignored walk testing and programmed the other options, tested the system and so far it appears to be working ok. Do not plan on using 7&8 so will go with it and hope there are no problems down the line...

New installation with 2 rkps, upstairs backlight on all the time the other downstairs only lights when key is pressed and then goes off, both operate ok. Read going off is the correct function. Swapped over rkp's same situation upstairs on all the time, so does not appear to be a problem with...
