It was given to me from a woker there who advised that one, but I have never heard of a slave unit. Never had 2 switches in my room. Now i no, the dimmers will be taken back and changed. I will then fit the new ones.

oh and the bulbs are just standard 40 watt. not energy savers or halogens

Dont know if you can see these pics, first time uploding on this site. Theres an album anyway. the broken switch is the old one, the other is the new dimmer. I have 2 of these and both dont work. someone please describe how these are wired to confirm what im thinking.[/img]

I Live in a Flat if that makes any difference to the wiring, im not sure but may help for information.
