In the past I did replace it with normal O ring (circular cross section) it didn't work as water was leaking so I used PTFE tape around it which worked but it is so tight that can't rotate the tap.

Yes, I saw that website. found similar tap but not exactly same. I think my tap is too old where they have used squarish o rings which are no longer available. https://central-servicesuk.co.uk/franke-tap-spares/danube This is the one which comes closest to my tap.

Yes exactly. This is what I need. Thickness 30mm, width enough to drill screw so may be 25mm - 30mm or so should be sufficient. Just checked battens most of them come in 25mm or 38mm thickness.

They look good in picture but not a feasible solution when you are replacing old fences in a typical garden surrounded by 6 neighbours. I was looking for fences which I could easily slot in. I couldn't find any local supplier, all I see are B&Qs, Wickes, TPs etc.
