    broken double glazing

Hi, I have a broken small double glazing unit, is it fairly easy to replace it myself ?. The only thing I’m unsure of is getting out the 4 beads, how are they held in ? Thanks , Mike

    Dishwasher degunge the waste

Hi. We have a Bosch dishwasher that has occasionally stopped working because the waste has become blocked with gunge. Anybody know of a product to use occasionally to prevent this. We normally use Finish tablets with each use, obviously they don't do the job,TYIA , Mike

Yes it was done in one visit. About 4 hours on site, plus about 4 hours travelling to and from Penzance. The liner was about 1metre long

    ''no dig'' drain repairs

Just to wind this up. I decided on a no dig solution as otherwise it would have ruined a new tarmac job and may have involved a pavement. Dyno rod used a resin impregnated sleeve, cost app. £900 paid by insurance. Has a 15yr guarantee

    ''no dig'' drain repairs

Thanks for both replies Am currently trying to claim off the insurance, If that doesn't work will probably do as you suggest and have it dug up. I know exactly where it is thanks to a cctv scan Regards , Mike

    Fitting a new gate valve

I have 2 gate valves in the loft (15 and 22). They have both seized. Is it likely that a new one would fit the existing nuts, as cutting the pipes would be difficult in the position they are in. The house is about 25 to 27 yrs old. Thanks , Mike
