    Toilet seat removal

To be honest I haven't tried pulling the seat up, the brackets are quite loose, but I might give it ago. As for the small oblong cover, I did think the same, I've tried pushing them in with a screw driver, but no joy. Might see if they will come out.

    Toilet seat removal

Hi I'm trying to remove the toilet seat so that I can access the chrome brackets to tighten them up, any ideas on how to remove this style of seat. I've tried pushing the white peg in, pulling the white peg, turning the peg.

I take it the heater box is the big silver box mounted towards the top of the drum on the right handside? Can you recommend any good web sites that sell spare parts? Thanks, mike

    HOTPOINT WDD960 F04

Well I got the problem sorted. First off I located the pressure switch pipe and disconnected it from the pressure switch end and gave it a good blow, seemed ok with no blockages. I then proceeded to remove the pump, what a chew on the white plastic clips are to remove  ... Anyhow once the...

fitting carpet gripper on a stairs

Hi, When fitting carpet grippers to the stairs should they be glue/screwed instead of nailed? The reason I ask is that I read a label fixed to the stairs on a new build house saying that the gripper should be glued as nailing them could damage/loosen the stairs/treads. what are peoples...
