Best way to connect a USB LED strip to a ceiling light fitting

Thanks for the replies. If I took the light pendant off and wired the cables to a plug socket like this >> Then plugged the USB charger plug into it (as I would into a wall plug socket) And the USB led into that, would this be a safe solution? Thanks again!

Best way to connect a USB LED strip to a ceiling light fitting

I wanted to know the best way to use my ceiling light fitting (which is a bayonet cap) to connect an LED light strip that has a USB connector and typically plugs into a USB to mains plug adaptor (like the iPhone charger ones). If I plug in a cable with a bayonet fitting ( as per image)...

Housing for Oven splintered - Can I use ePoxy?

Not sure tbh. It looks like chipboard with edging tape around it. My original plan was to fill the holes with ePoxy (if it was safe to do so) so the mounting screws would hold, then get some edging tape to replace the stained edges.

Housing for Oven splintered - Can I use ePoxy?

Yes it does. If the screws are not secure then when you pull open the oven door, the oven sort of tilts forward a bit.

Housing for Oven splintered - Can I use ePoxy?

I need to replace my oven and have pulled it out to look at the 'frame' that holds it. The screws that held the oven in had come loose and on inspection I can see the chipboard has splintered around where the holes are (see below). Whats the best thing to fills the holes. The chipboard...

What is this down pipe made of?

Hi. I'm looking to paint an old waste down pipe outside my flat. The paint has started flaking off but I can't really tell what material its made out of, to know what paint to buy. Can anyone tell what type of pipe it is please? It's on a 1960s (UK) building. There seems to be what looks...
