Water coming through glass on external wooden door

There doesn’t seem to be any seal rubber or silicone, I’ve messaged the fitter to confirm. I’m assuming we will need to remove the beading to ensure inside is fully dry before replacing and siliconing? Thanks for the replies

Water coming through glass on external wooden door

I think the wavy line is actually water that’s got inside. Yep I’m not confident so will get him back out to re seal it asap. Thank you

Water coming through glass on external wooden door

Hello and help. We recently had a wooden door made & fitted, the glass came separate and was put in by the joiner. All good… or so we thought. With the recent storm I noticed the wind was blowing the rain underneath the glass and it was coming inside the door. Obviously I was horrified but on...

It doesn’t specify for plastic but it does say 1 month until fully hardened. Maybe I just need to leave it well alone for longer. Hopefully! Thank you

    Painting ikea wardrobe doors

Hello, paint advice please. I’ve previously painted Ikea wardrobe doors using primer & top coat etc worked fine but took forever. I’m currently painting a new run of Ikea type doors (plastic topped mdf) and mentioned to our joiner how long the process takes, he spoke to his decorator friend...

    Crackle tiles need sealing?

Hello, We’ve recently had some retro mini crackle wall tiles fitted in a bathroom, they’ve been fitted and grouted (not by me) when I noticed a label in the box saying they need to sealed before grouting, I don’t believe they have been. Does anyone know how important sealing is? Is there a way...

    Builders rubble buried in garden

So I think we’ve made a silly mistake and need some advice on the best way forward. We’ve recently had some renovation work done and to level the garden we had a retaining wall built and the builders rubble back filled the area. There’s enough room for approximately 10cm of topsoil which the...

    Potential woodworm?

I’ve bought some old pine doors and had them stripped. Just noticed some holes in the top corner of one of the doors and am worried it could be woodworm. (I think they were covered by paint before so didn’t notice) does anyone know if this looks like woodworm? If so does it look fresh or old...

    Frame extender

Thank you, yeh I think we’ll steer clear of the extenders at that size. In my head I thought 100mm is nothing but actually it could be an eyesore. We are now however stuck comparing a 3 leaf bifold and the 4 leaf slide and stack… I don’t suppose anyone has any advice on the difference between those?

    Frame extender

Ok well that’s good to have some outside perspective, thank you I think it’s the quick glide system. I was the one who suggested the extender which they weren’t keen on and said I’d need to put 2 together but kind of said it’s up to me if that’s what I want. I think I just had my heart set on...
