I'm putting a corrugated steel roof on a lean to against an existing shed that has a corrugated steel wall.
Is there any easy way to flash between the two? I'm not sure if flashband would be flexible enough, particularly if the peaks and troughs don't exactly line up.
Anyone got any ideas...
Yes, could well be putty as the windows are fairly old as far as I know. My main concern (which I forgot to explain in the original post) is the frames, but obviously misted units are not good either and we've had a couple go over the last few years.
I wondered if anyone had any advice on the following. I remember seeing somewhere that it was a good idea to put a bead of silicone sealant on the outside of the window around the edge of the glass and the frame, as shown in red in the picture:

No worries; you're right it's not the best thing ever, but this is an old cottage and there are millions of worse things to sort out. The patch is only about six inches square so for now trying to match it up is a lot easier than getting rid of it.

Hi all, the cold water tap is stiff on my kitchen mixer, so I thought I'd get the valve out to give it a bit of a grease, but unfortunately I can't seem to work out how to even get the top of the tap off.
