It appears Thermopanel is a reputable company, like I said I think the niche itself is good quality and looks good to be fair, but thermopanel don't advertise LED niches on their website, so I'm guessing a third party has added the poor quality LEDs.

The bottom pic... Yes that's light shining through to show the gaps on the middle shelf I guess either they purposely left gaps for drainage or it's poor welding.

Hi, The LED driver is going to be outside the bathroom / zones somewhere, probably in a access panel with the bathroom downlight driver also. Yes that's one of the 12v cables to LED. Good point on the unsheathed 240v cables, its all crap / dangerous. Shame as the niche itself is good...

Hi, Would it be good practice to fit a PRV even if the mains pressure was normal i.e. 2 - 3 bar? More of a preventive measure, I assume pressure from the kerb mains could potentially spike/raise? Thanks for any help

Could it be electric shower / mixers weeping internal valves which isn't obvious i. e a long/intermittent drip could go unnoticed Can stopcocks weep in the open position (from the gland nut / turn shaft) :unsure:
