    There is not a lot of space beside it , a 90° shut off valve with a 3/8 push fit if there is such a thing would work I think .

    I'm guessing this valve need's to be replaced .

    Last update on this for anyone who may arrive at this thread in the future , i fitted the 2 new room stats (see above post) and no more relay clicking and heating is cutting in and out as expected. Thanks all who posted for the advice and help ..

    I sent the video to continental ufh and they said i need a new wiring centre , blaming a power cut , not too sure how the faulty wiring centre would cause the room stats to cut in and out too quickly though. I will change it ..

    I have swapped the room stats over and checked all wire screws are tight , still same issue ..

    Sorry guys but I've been a bit dim , the noise in my original video is from the relays in the wiring centre which is just above the valve , I also seem to still have an issue with the room stat that I thought I had solved at the beginning of the year (with this forums help) , The stat is cutting...

    I loosened the 2 screws (see photo) on the carrier but couldn't seem to get the carrier off , it was loose but wouldn't pull out ,its all original as far as i know and the motor cog is brass , i can move the lever with the pinion easily by hand .

    I got the cover off and thought i had found the problem , only 1 screw holding the motor on , on spending half an hour or so finding a suitable one , I discovered it only has 1 holding it in, the other side of the motor locates in a slot , it seems to be a rack and pinion type of arrangement ...
