    polystyrene veneer

Hello, I am planning to put a 2mm polystyrene veneer up on the interior walls of a couple of rooms in my house, before I hang wallpaper. Do I hang the polystyrene horizontally or vertically, any other useful pointers would be helpful. Thanks mr bean
