I have some polyplumb pipe I want to join to some copper pipe (15mm) I believe polypipe & polyplumb are the same manufacturer but could I use other makes of push fit fittings such as HEP20 or speedfit? Can I attach the fittings directly onto copper pipe or do i need a conversion fitting between the two. Lastly, are there any pitfalls in using push fit fittings? - I have only worked with copper before. Do you use PTFE tape or equivalent/alternative?
Thanks

hep & speedfit can be connected to copper using their own fittings. they also can be connected using compression fittings (don't forget the inserts). i suggest you check with the relevant manufacturers sites.
