I want to put some external windows on an angle. I know I should just use roof windows but they are a lot more expensive. Surely if i just silicone the glass into the frame that would work.
Hi, does anyone know if you can tilt a normal double glazed unit (in a uPVC frame) by 15° backwards?
Some frames allow water to drain down onto the cill and out, but if if was tilted backwards would this still work? If there a way of making them waterproof. Adding silicone?

Made this pull up bar out of a bit of steam pipe. Quite pleased with the design. Pull-up bar by MR M - DT posted 3 Feb 2016 at 11:13 PM
I've not done alot since the arrival of my baby son, apart from finish painting the front. Hobbit shed by MR M - DT posted 30 Sep 2015 at 7:57 AM
And doing a little work to the inside. Photos to follow.
Thanks. I have to say very relieved the door fits and the hinges take the weight. Months of planning, measuring, lots of concrete!
The brickwork isn't too special. I'm no bricky! I'm thinking I'll either clad it or get it rendered.
Yeah the fences are all very 'tired'! They were well gone before I moved in. Another thing on the list!
A few people have mentioned TV shows, but apart from the door its a fairly boring shed I guess, I don't think they'll be interested. Maybe when ive finished everything.

Incredibly heavy! On 6mm wedges for clearance Hobbit door by MR M - DT posted 17 Aug 2015 at 11:45 PM
I then could swing the hinges around to the door and drill through. I added 10, 10mm coach bolts per Hinge.
