    Sick of Mould behind radiator

I'll never install this. Seen to many horror stories. 1. Mould was present when the rad was on the wall. As many posters have mentioned the likely cause is living habits/ draping towels on rad. 2. I specifically removed the rad to clean the mould and decorate the wall. The mould is not...

    Sick of Mould behind radiator

Incorrect capitalisation is mildly infuriating. But give me grace because the mould is doing my head in. To clarify. The rad was on the wall. Thick black mould was noted almost exclusively behind the radiator. So whipped off the rad, removed and treated mould. Then have decorated the area...

    Sick of Mould behind radiator

The wall Cavity wall (not insulated) I'm not so sure it's a red herring bevause the wall temp was measured with the rads off during various points of the days and thd entire wall showed a virtually identical/consisted temp. We do get the odd tiny bit of mould around the window reveals as well.

    Sick of Mould behind radiator

Forgot to mention that the problem is in the bedroom. Washing is mainly dried outside. Main culprit is family not opening bedroon windows to all fresh air to circulate in the rooms. Besides reducing humidity, would another paint finish solve my issue? It is only the back of rads that are...

Bathroom ceiling is severely peeling, cracking and mouldy in places I want to repair once and for all but have a few queries 1. Is it advisable to scrape ALL of the old paint, even if it's sound? or is this a waste of time? 2. After scraping, the plan is to use electric sander to flatten any...

Neighbours builder damaged wall.. Big deal or let it go?

Thanks. Unfortunately, too many bits have broken off/gone missing to attach it back. That was my only concern.. The builder just sticking any brick in there that isn't a close match and new mortar sticking out like a sore thumb.. But then again the impact damage looks terrible and the now...

Neighbours builder damaged wall.. Big deal or let it go?

There's a brick wall which separates our neighbours side from my side to enter our respective properties. Neighbours builder decided to bash their metal mixing paddle on the top of the wall and they've damaged the top of the soldier brick. Besides the damage the wall is in great condition ie...
