Thanks for your post Bernard, but its not a question of skimping. Its just Ive only so much money to go around and the boiler is costing double what I thought it would. Is a Combimate really needed. I've had the same boiler for about 15 years and never had a problem up until now.

The flow rate is poor anyway. It is a flat with the cold tank above the hot tank in a cupboard hence the pump. I realise I really need a negative head pump but they are so dear. It always worked if you put the shower head in bottom of the bath, then turn on the water. The pump would then start...

Good afternoon, I hope someone out there can help me. I have a Watermill shower pump. When I turn on the water flow at the shower mixer on cold the pump starts and we have flow. When I turn the temperature control towards the hot, the pump stops. Any ideas anyone please? :?

Hi everybody, I need to connect two buildings approx 90 meters apart with an underground conduit to carry phone, ethernet, shotgun coax and intercom cables. I was going to use 43mm waste pipe (solvent type) but its a bit expensive. has anybody out tere got any better ideas please. Peter :)
