Hi
We've got a sink that's all built in and while it has fairly easy access from under it, the cupboard below has been cut to fit the sink.
The sink it's self is fine, good size, fits nicely in place. BUT it's got 2x taps, one hot one cold.
The taps are connected via flexihose which makes...
Right. I tested as suggested and getting just over 100v. With the moes connected, when I touch the screws between L and N I get 115v.
Moes box states 95-240v so it should work. Maybe it's duff!
What a kerfuffle!
I text the plumber who installed the boiler and he says he has no idea why it's...
Right!
Got a multi meter and checked I was using it right with known battery voltage (fully charged 9v and 1.5v).
I'm getting 100v out of live which is likley why the moes is not powering up.
The question is... Why? Is this normal lol
Just to confirm, this is the CORRECT working wiring for the T40.
I've searched, I've looked at other threads on this forum, all say the same and I've done exactly the same. I just don't understand why it won't even power on!
Ah! Because I attached the wrong photo the original honeywell wiring was/is
Blue 2
Black 3
Brown 1
So yes this does mean I wired the honeywell wrong once and took a photo of it.
Go me!
Yay I broke it, I'm good at that. At least I didn't blow up the boiler in all of this and the original honeywell is working fine ☺
Thanks for all your help, I'm giving up
No luck mate, I've tried all sorts now with the exception of of course putting L in N!
I've tried blue and black in 2 and 3, bridge (tidy) 1 to 4 but nada, thing won't even turn on.
Maybe ill just give up on life!
Yep another moes post
They are just so cheap, and yes you get what you pay for but the nest looked well complicated as I don't already have a wireless thermostat, the Google nest E was so expensive so I thought I'd give the cheap a bash!
In relation to 1 from smart stat to L linked, do you...
