Try the shoe first pointing to the side. Check the tile overlap though.
Try not to do option 2. Downpipes running down tiled roofs look shyte and also they blow off in a strong storm.
Raising the lower gutter will help.
I’m not familiar with that system but give him a call and if he is a reputable roofer he will pop back out to sort it. Sometimes when fitting gutters it’s easy to snag a rubber and we don’t realise till it rains.
I would have done away with the pipe and had the gutter flow towards the house main roof. It’s only a short run. It would have dissipated on its way down before reaching the lower gutter and there would’ve been no splashing.
The end caps don’t stop the panels from slipping. The snap down top portion of the glazing bar does this. The end cap is simply decorative and hides all the joins.
Shyte from the roof is making it's way down the render. The dry verge caps seem to be at their most extended towards the top. I'd like to see a pic of the roof when the dry verge butts up to the tile!
