I hve noticed that the facia board on one side of my kitchen isn't sealed, see photo, which might explain why sometimes I can feel a draft coming through my down lights.
What is the best way to rectify this ?

I’ve just noticed that the end cap isn’t screwed to the brick either.

The trim does not get screwed to the brickwork, fill the space with white silicone, I doubt that would be the cause of the draught from the downlights.

Thanks for your reply Alastair.
That’s a big gap to fill with silicone.
Noted on the draft. That must be coming from another source.

You can use expanding foam first, cut flush when dry then silicone over to tidy it up...If that is an attic it is supposed to be draughty to keep it free from moisture..you can get insulated covers for downlights.

The undercloak should be longer and mortared to the end of the tile with the guttering extended.
