    0.8m x0.6m 12.5mm board repair

Yeah thats the plan going forward. Just the consistency I'm unfamiliar with. Will it still go off and set fine if you don't use enough water? The stated 500ml to 1kg was quite thick but maybe thats how it has to be. Just thinking a slightly wetter mix might be easier to apply as a skim coat?

    0.8m x0.6m 12.5mm board repair

Made a bit of a hash of this first attempt ! I filled up the cracks and got the tape on, clearly mixed to much filler up than I could really get on somdid waste quite a bit (1kg bag) Also got distracted yapping to a mate who had come around to pick up a reel of cable. Anyways, how long before...

    Pan Connector not central

https://www.wickes.co.uk/Hadleigh-Click+Freeflow-2-Part-Basin-Waste---Matt-Black/p/230292# This is it here. Says it suits slotted and unslotted waste but there doesn't look like there's any alignment holes. Assuming the way it's assembled the slotted overflow would work from any direction.

Thanks for the heads up! I was actually looking at the basin waste today and I'm hoping it also has some clever internal overflow haha.

    Pan Connector not central

Just had something in my head niggling at me not to use a flexible pan connector. Been a pretty slow project this bathroom as I can only work a couple hours a day. Getting there though. Many thanks to the members here though!

@denso13 @Madrab Looks like all has gone well. Will give the solvent weld a little bit to cure and then test.

Yeah I don't like the thought of the push fits undert the floor. Did everything in solvent weld. As I say, was just confused by the ring seal adapters with being push fit. All corrected now. The seals look like new. Cleaned up all the debris and sawdust from them and re-greased. Hopefully...

Yeah was going to put a bucket of water down the 4" soil to check that one and then a few jugs down the shower waste for the 1.5"

    Pan Connector not central

Hey, thanks for helping. The 1.5" (40mm) waste pipe will all be solvent weld. I assumed it was pushfit pipe as it was pushfit connections into the 4" soil pipe. The pushfit pipe was quite loose though into there so I went and tried my solvent weld pipe and was much better fit. So everything...

Most things I probably would, as the first joint out of a poop pipe, maybe pass It looks sludgy but there's no evidence of water or leaking so unlikely oozing poo. Basicly what I was seeing if I got answered back

So it is push fit which is good. Is this just old grease/fairy or whatever they used when they originally put the soil stack together? (Image 1) Going to be a pain to cut unless I cut more of the floor away which I didn't really want to do but if needs must haha. The old basin waste was...

    Pan Connector not central

Yeah I'm going to open it up today and have a look before buying the new pan connector. The other end is just the shower waste running in to it, so if I get lucky and it's all push fit, I should be able to just disconnect, cut 50mm off the toilet soil pipe end and then extend the shower waste...

    Pan Connector not central

OK thanks all. Il try a solid one first and get it in as far as I can. Failing that I'll have to go flexible. It's very short so hopefully fine. Am I better with the flexible that has a jubilee? Also, is there any reason his soil pipe would be so tight to the t+g floor? I'm sure I get creaking...
