Hello all,

Fitting up for my new toilet and pan connectors are a new one for me.

The Vanity unit for the concealed cistern with the toilet central has the soil pipe 50mm out of centre.

I can see you get offset Pan connectors but it looks like I need a vertical to horizontal (90 degree) pan connector.

Can this be modified with some pipework or am I looking at needing a flexible pan connector?

Iv included an image as this will probably explain the problem better than I have above haha

Thanks

There will be enough leeway in a normal long tailed bent pan connector, the top will move over enough to accommodate that.

OK thanks all. Il try a solid one first and get it in as far as I can. Failing that I'll have to go flexible. It's very short so hopefully fine.

Am I better with the flexible that has a jubilee?

Also, is there any reason his soil pipe would be so tight to the t+g floor? I'm sure I get creaking from this when got water is flowing through.

I can cut some material away and silicone to stope any stress?

If you want to go whole hog... Uplift the boards and extend the soil pipe to where it needs to be.
Yeah I'm going to open it up today and have a look before buying the new pan connector.

The other end is just the shower waste running in to it, so if I get lucky and it's all push fit, I should be able to just disconnect, cut 50mm off the toilet soil pipe end and then extend the shower waste to reach.

If its solvent welded, il probably just go with a new pan connector haha
