Yes I believe he did. The pressure climbed back up to 2.5 overnight so it's back to square one again. :x @ twgas - Do you mean the temp controls on each radiator? If so, yes they each have their own control.

Both - I hadn't used the boiler since moving in because of those. The pressure was sitting at 2.5 when I moved in - and the leak was ever present with a bucket sitting underneath the boiler to catch the drips.

I take it that means I should switch it off asap? I just had an engineer out today to lower the pressure as it was sitting at 2.5 on cold - he also fixed a leak. Grrrr :cry:

Hello - I have just moved into a new house with the above boiler. When the central heating is running, the boiler fires up every 20 seconds for about 10 seconds - a continuous pattern of this. The pressure gauge is fine - at 1.5 bar when the heating is switched off, and going up to just about 2...
