Hi Terry the central heating was drained down before via a ground floor radiator (attached to pipework hose attached then drained down) The floors downstairs are comcrete I did notice the one wall in the dining room near the floor smelt a bit damp
Yeah thought that may be the case cant see where any obvious leaks are defo not upstairs gonna have to check my building and contents insurance see if imncovered ...anybody recommend a company local to Doncaster?

Ok Terry i took it off and flushed it through took otherside off but never removed the whole of the bleed valve side suppose if im taking it iff may as well order a new rad from Screwfix think its only 23 quidish save alm messing around...
Hi Terry its a single panel rad about 15 years old one of the older ones i have left in ...took the bleed screw out got a really tiny trickle hopefully can see on pic
Got a rad thats causing me problems...
1 small ensuite rad gets warm no problem however when i went to open the bleed valve no water or air is released ive taken the rad of jet washed it and put it back on and its still the same

Yeah I wanted it back to hiw it was installed last year another guy came in fitted a pump and changed it without me realising so wanted it set back to original ...setting ao no idea why on earth he'd wanted to change it
It was set at .3 when fitted and some other guy came in and messed with it when ibhad issues with a pump when there was no need sonset it back to how it was when it was installed last year
