Defintely not, that would involve removing the vanity unit & sink and running a feed through three walls or two outside, which would be more cost and a lot more time. Do the PEV include a non return system or do I need to fit a separate one. I don't want to restrict the hot flow any more than...

It's fixed! The pump does run after HW and CH off, but afte a few mins it stops. I guess it's intended to overrun for a while. The problem must have been the actuator as you said. Thanks for you help again.

Well, I've swapped the suspect new actuator with my known working one from the CH. Now nearly all seems fine - the orange and brown wires to it are dead when the CH off and live when it's on, and the boiler only fires when required. However the pump is staying on regardless and I'm pretty sure...

Well if necessary I can swap it for my other actuator off the CH as that is a known working unit. I'll have to do that tomorrow because the previous house owner has platerboarded over the wiring and I'll have to cut it out!

I couldn't leave it! When the hw is off the switch is on A, orange live, brown dead. (I'm referring to the colour of the wires going TO the actuator, they are connected to wires of another colour). When the hw is switched to on the brown is live, and the switch moves across to B.
