I want to paint my living room and there is currently some sort of paintable wallpaper. There is also the odd patch where a scrap has come off. Is there any way round, re wallpapering the whole room - i.e. filling in the scraps?? I'll be painting over it all with a couple of coats of paint...
The manufacturers instructions seem to indicate that it was designed, marketed and sold as a cold fill. The y piece is supposed to go on the cold water supply tap so that cold water goes into both inlets. So the instructions say anyway
That, my friend, sounds like a solution. I've just put the cold and hot back on as I need to do a wash and it does function that way but I know it should be cold fill really so will get one of those bad boys and have another crack at it. Thanks!
Theres two 'in' bits (?) going into the washing machine. It did have one hot and cold in there but have been advised both should be cold. And checking the brochure its right and machine did originally come with a y piece adapter for that purpose. It was wrongly installed with a hot and cold and...

ok at the risk of sounding stupid (I am new to this) do you mean extend the water supply pipe? Because it points downwards and seems like if I add any length to it, it will get closer to the ground....
