Thanks Owain. I had done that (turned the cam) but clearly I hadn't done a good job. You are right they are crap.
Can you please tell me what you mean about reinforcing the corners though - how should I do it?

It's seriously tempting to just pull them apart and try again with Gorilla glue and a clamp or two but I know I need to know what I've done wrong.
Can anyone please advise how I can get about 6 drawer fronts to stay on please on some self-assembled Homebase drawers? The clicky in type screw doesn't seem to be fixing them so can I just nail the drawer fronts back on somehow? I've no doubt it's user error and nothing wrong with the drawers...
